Red Hot Rod on 3rd St during lunch hours

Today I made my way downtown during lunch and spotted this cool hot rod with a rumble seat. After I ate lunch in the parking lot on Broad and 3rd I managed to catch the car heading home. Check out the occupied rumble seat.

Red convertible on 3rd St - Naples, FL

Red convertible as seen from 9th St looking toward 3rd Ave at St. Ann's. I followed and took the next two photos.

I was driving around Saturday afternoon, taking turns down streets, etc. Not much was going on as it wasn't dinner time yet. I was on 9th Ave South just off 3rd St and low and behold, I look up and see this beauty on 3rd Ave. I quickly followed past St. Ann's church with an SUV between me and this photo opt. As we got to the light at Broad and 3rd I slipped to the side of the SUV and snapped this quick. I managed only another shot from the back then he took off down third and left into Aqualane Shores. I think he saw me taking pictures out my sunroof so I abandoned the chase.

New tags on this red convertible on 3rd St. Soon after this picture he took off down 3rd. I quickly switched the camera to movie mode and captured some awesome street noise from his car as he sped off.

Porsche Cayenne on 3rd St S.

Trying to beat the rare South Florida afternoon rain in April, I shot this beauty outside of the Waterfront Realty office. I couldn't resist the darkened cloud backdrop.

Enjoy!

Two Bentley convertibles

I'm getting a little bored and it seems most of what I have from the Cars on 5th car show are multiple picture of the same car, just different angles, etc. Because of that, I am branching out to include cars on and off 3rd St S as well as from around Naples. So, here are the first entries away from 5th Ave S. I'll have to say, it's much more fun driving 3rd St. area then 5th Ave. S. area. There just seems to be nicer cars, they are easier to photograph since road is a bit wider and there's more of them. I will say though, if a car is parked on the West side of the road, I have a hard time because of the sun.
