Porsche Cayenne on 3rd St S.
Trying to beat the rare South Florida afternoon rain in April, I shot this beauty outside of the Waterfront Realty office. I couldn't resist the darkened cloud backdrop.
Enjoy!

Porsche dealership - Naples, FL
Naples Porsche dealership is right on 41 across from the Naples Beach Hotel's golf coarse and easliy seen as you drive by. Often I'll stop to see what they have on display and snap a few photos. Today I'm posting photos taken just last Tuesday when I met my wife Nancy at the nearby mall for lunch. I had a few minutes to spare before she got there so I quickly made my way down 10th through Lake Park to a side street that leads to the dealership.
Enjoy!

Two Bentley convertibles
I'm getting a little bored and it seems most of what I have from the Cars on 5th car show are multiple picture of the same car, just different angles, etc. Because of that, I am branching out to include cars on and off 3rd St S as well as from around Naples. So, here are the first entries away from 5th Ave S. I'll have to say, it's much more fun driving 3rd St. area then 5th Ave. S. area. There just seems to be nicer cars, they are easier to photograph since road is a bit wider and there's more of them. I will say though, if a car is parked on the West side of the road, I have a hard time because of the sun.

Bentley parked at a home off 8th Ave S.

Work of art on 5th Ave - Naples, FL
What I like about driving 5th Ave, you can stop your car while driving and the car behind you just assumes another car ahead of you has stopped for a pedestrians or a car attempting to park along the road. Because of this, I am able to stop frequently when a photo opportunity arises, such as this beauty.
I always feel like the owner might be eating at the nearby outside restaurant and sees me take pass after pass in order to get the best picture. I have a route, go to the light, turn right, then right again paralleling 5th until 3rd, and then back up 5th. Depending on where the sun is or where the "hot" cars are, I'll have to turn around in order to head down in the other direction. I generally shoot out the driver’s side window and keep the camera steady by leaning it on the window sill of the car. A couple recent posts, some shots are out of my sun roof. Because I am generally on 5th (and 3rd) close to dusk, I have to be very still so as not to blur.
I love this last shot as a family marvels over the beauty of the Ferrari.
I will say here for the record, I do not drive and take photos, I stop my car and shoot.
Enjoy!

Ferrari leaving Cars on 5th - Naples, FL
At the end of the day, I situated myself at 5th and 9th and hoped most of the cars would leave the show this route. Most did, but many made their way down side streets.
Enjoy!
